Welcome to Tau Beta Pi, New Mexico Gamma. We are located at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) in Socorro, New Mexico.
Our chapter was chartered in 1985. New Mexico Tech was founded in 1889 as the New Mexico School of Mines. It has become one of the most affordable undergraduate programs and is recognized for its strong emphasis on research in both science and engineering.
The New Mexico Gamma Chapter received Honorable Mention for the 2003 R.C. Mathew's Outstanding Chapter Award based on the activities and involvement of its members. This honor ranks us among the top 3 chapters in all engineering colleges throughout the United States.
